Studies of invasive alien weeds, inventory of species, and their dispersal are important not only in conservation environments but also in study areas in educational institutions such as universities. This research was conducted with the aim of being an initial study to determine the types and distribution vectors of invasive alien weeds in the study area of the biology garden of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung which have the potential to disrupt the surrounding ecosystem. Weed sampling was carried out by purposive sampling exploration method in the biology garden area of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Based on the inventory results, a total of 16 species and 8 families of invasive alien weeds were obtained with the most families coming from the Asteraceae family. The invasive alien weed seed dispersal vectors include wind, water, and animals. Most invasive alien weed species found in the sampling sites have wind and animal dispersal vector types (31.25%). Seed dispersal by animals and wind has an effective dispersal rate because the range of distribution is quite wide. In addition, the characteristics of seeds, the ability to adapt and develop in new environments in plants such as species of the Asteraceae family can cause their invasion to take place quickly and massively.
Tiara Rahmawati, Wulan Anggraeni, Rahmat Taufiq Mustahiq Akbar ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unimor.ac.id/index.php/JBE/article/view/5995 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Prevalensi dan Intensitas Ektoparasit pada Sapi yang dipelihara secara Intensif dan Semi Intensif di Kecamatan Pangkalan Susu Sumatera Utara https://jurnal.unimor.ac.id/index.php/JBE/article/view/6354
Beef cattle have a major role in meat production and meet animal protein needs. This study aims to identify and calculate the prevalence rate and level of ectoparasite infestation in beef cattle raised intensively and semi-intensively in Alur Measles village and Pangkalan Susu sub-district agricultural village. This research uses exploratory methods with tools such as sweep nets and tweezers. Sweep nets are used to catch ectoparasites flying around the cow’s body, while tweezers are used to pick up ectoparasites attached to the cow’s body. There are four families of ectoparasite consisting of four different types. The most common type of ectoparasite found is Rhipicephalus microplu. The highest attendance rate was seen in semi-intensively raised cows, with the ectoparasite Rhipicephalus microplus present rate reaching 100% which can be categorized as “always present”. Meanwhile, the lowest attendance rate was seen in intensively reared cattle, with the ectoparasite Chryomya megacephala present at a rate of 26%, which can be categorized as ”frequently present”. The highest infestation rate also occurred in semi-intensively raised cattle, with an Rhipicephalus microplus infestation rate of 6.88, which can be categorized as “moderate”. Meanwhile, the lowest infestation rate occurred in intensively raised cows, with an infestation rate of 0.28, which can be categorized as “very low”I.
Triya Aina, Efida Pima Sari Tambunan, Syukriah Syukriah ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unimor.ac.id/index.php/JBE/article/view/6354 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Pengembangan Aplikasi MySkripsi untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Manajemen Waktu Bimbingan Skripsi Mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi https://jurnal.unimor.ac.id/index.php/JBE/article/view/7204
Lidwina Felisima Tae, Feliksitas Angel Masing, Risald Risald ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unimor.ac.id/index.php/JBE/article/view/7204 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000
