PROSES PENCARIAN MAKNA PADA PERAWAT PENYINTAS COVID-19: STUDI KUALITATIF

Latar Belakang: Perawat memiliki risiko tinggi terpapar Covid-19 sebagai dampak dari pekerjaan merawat pasien. Perawat yang terpapar Covid-19 dan akhirnya mengalami kesembuhan memiliki makna kehidupan dibalik peristiwa yang kurang menyenangkan sebagai petugas garda depan sekaligus sebagai penyintas Covid-19.
Tujuan: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pengalaman perawat penyintas Covid-19 dalam upaya pencarian makna saat mengalami Covid-19.
Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan fenomenologi deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah sejumlah 8 orang perawat penyintas Covid-19.
Hasil: Data didapatkan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam dilengkapi catatan lapangan. Wawancara direkam selanjutnya dibuat transkrip wawancara. Selanjutnya hasil wawancara dianalisa menggunakan teknik analisa data Collaizi. Hasil penelitian menemukan 2 tema yang berhubungan dengan proses pencarian makna yakni pendalaman nilai kehidupan dan sumber-sumber kebermaknaan hidup.
Kesimpulan: Perawat sebagai individu dan sebagai sebuah profesi perlu menyadari peristiwa-peristiwa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan memiliki penghayatan atas pencarian makna dibalik peristiwa tersebut.
