Abstract

The low ability of students to solve problems during the learning process is caused by the use of ineffective learning models. In addition, technological developments have resulted in decreased student interest in local culture. One of the learning models that can be applied is Problem-Based Learning (PBL) with an ethnomathematics approach. On the other hand, the use of Quizizz can be an innovation to attract students' attention in learning. This study aims to identify and categorize all research related to the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model with ethnomathematics nuances with Quizizz support in improving students' problem solving skills in Indonesia. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), with data collection from national journal articles between 2020 and 2024 through Google Scholar and Google. This research covers all levels of education, namely SD/MI, SMP/MTS, and SMA/SMK. Based on previous research, there is evidence that the application of the Problem-Based Learning model with an ethnomathematics approach and Quizizz support can improve students' ability to solve problems. Thus, it can be concluded that this model is effective in improving students' problem solving skills.
