Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Teknologi dan Etnomatika Dalam Upaya Meningkatkan HOTS pada Kurikulum Merdeka
Abstract
The Merdeka Curriculum encourages the application of learning models that are able to develop higher order thinking skills (HOTS) in students. This article theoretically examines the integration of technology and ethnomathematics in mathematics learning models as an approach to improve HOTS. This literature review identifies how technology, such as interactive software and digital learning applications, can be used to facilitate the understanding of more complex mathematical concepts. In addition, the ethnomathematics approach is presented as a method to connect mathematical concepts with cultural values and local traditions known by students, so that learning becomes more relevant and meaningful. This article argues that the combination of technology and ethnomathematics in mathematics learning not only enriches the learning experience, but also effectively supports the development of students' analytical, critical and creative abilities. The integration of these two approaches is considered a strategic step to achieve the Merdeka Currficulum's goal of creating adaptive and contextualized learning.
