Sikap Siswa Kelas IX Terhadap Pembelajaran Geometri Melalui Project Based Learning
Abstract
Geometry learning is one of the most important lessons to learn, but in fact students experience difficulties, this is caused by one of the internal factors, namely attitude. A less positive attitude can make it even more difficult for students to understand complex and abstract concepts. In order for students' attitudes to be positive towards geometry learning, we can apply an appropriate learning model. One of the learning models that is in line with the independent curriculum is project based learning. This study aims to describe students' attitudes towards geometry learning through project based learning, whether they show a positive attitude or otherwise. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research (descriptive statistics). The subjects of this study were 34 students in grade IX at MTs Negeri 1 Ogan Ilir. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study indicate that geometry learning through project based learning as many as 12 students are included in the very positive attitude category with a percentage of 35.3% and as many as 22 students are included in the positive attitude category with a percentage of 64.7%.
