KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS BURUNG DI SUB DAS BARAT UNIVERSITAS PADJADJARAN BAGIAN UTARA DAN SELATAN
Abstract
Indonesia is one of the countries with very high fauna diversity, one of
which is bird diversity. Birds are bioindicators of the level of
biodiversity of an area because they can occupy a wide habitat or land
use. The study of bird diversity in the Padjadjaran University area
aims to determine the diversity of bird species on the Padjadjaran
University campus, the northern and southern western sub-DAS
which have diverse plant vegetation. Data collection was carried out
using the point count method. In this study, the results obtained were
458 individuals from 18 species and 15 families. The diversity of birds
in the Padjadjaran University Area, the northern western sub-DAS is
classified as moderate with an average species diversity index (H ') of
1.77; an average species evenness index value (E) of 0.61; an average
species dominance index value (C) of 0.22. While in the southern part
it is classified as moderate with an average species diversity index (H
') of 1.33; an average species evenness index value (E) of 0.46; the
average species dominance index value (C) is 0.38. The diversity of
bird species in the northern western sub-watershed is higher than the
southern western sub-watershed with fewer dominant species. And
the distribution of species in both locations is categorized as stable.
