Keterkaitan Al-Qur’an dan Sains Dalam Upaya Menarik Simpatik Peserta Didik dalam Proses Pendidikan Biologi

Abstract

The Qur'an has many verses that can be associated with biological science. The Qur'an is the source of all knowledge, including biology. Many of the European researchers later came to Islam because they associated natural events with the Qur'an. The Qur'an is a source of inspiration for developing science. Islam views biological science as a foundation in understanding, preserving and utilizing Allah's creation as best as possible. Biological science is a science that plays an important role in human life. Etymologically, biology consists of two words, namely bios which means living things and logos which means science. Biological science in terminology has the meaning of science related to living things and life. The core of biology learning is living things, such as the substances that make up living things, the substances needed by living things, and various things needed between living things and their environment. The study aspect in biology is very broad, covering all living things on land, water and air. In the process of teaching and learning activities that occur, generally students feel bored and bored, this is because the doctrine of biology is memorization. One of the efforts that can be used as a countermeasure to this incident is to associate science in biological sciences with verses of the Qur'an.
