Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

To ensure the quality and consistency of publications, below are the author guidelines for authors submitting manuscripts to the Timora Journal:

1. Scope and Focus of Articles
Submitted articles must be the result of community service activities and relevant to the following fields:
- Agriculture
- Science
- Health
The articles should demonstrate the implementation methods, results, and their impact on the community.

2. General Requirements
- Authors are responsible for the originality and novelty of the article content.
- Articles must be written in proper Indonesian or English.

3. Article Structure
Articles must be structured as follows:
a. Title:
- Maximum of 15 words.
- Relevant, specific, and reflective of the article's content.
b. Abstract:
- Written in both Indonesian and English.
- 150-200 words in length.
- Includes the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the activity.
c. Keywords:
- Consist of 3-5 words/phrases.
- Represent the main concepts of the article.
d. Introduction:
- Contains the background, the issues addressed, objectives, and the benefits of the activities for the community.
e. Methods:
- Explains the steps of the community service activities, tools and materials (if relevant), and the location of the activities.
f. Results and Discussion:
- Describes the results of the activities in detail, supported by relevant data.
- Includes an analysis of the impact of the activities on the community.
g. Conclusion and Recommendations:
- Summarizes the main results of the activities.
- Provides recommendations for sustainability or further development.
h. Acknowledgments (Optional):
- If applicable, directed to parties supporting the activities.
i. References:
- Use the latest edition of APA Style for citations.
- A minimum of 10 references, prioritizing journals, books, or trusted sources.

4. Formatting Requirements
- Manuscripts should be typed using word processing software (MS Word).
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12, single spacing.
- Margins: 3 cm (top, bottom, left, and right).
- Article length: 6-12 pages, including tables and figures.

5. Manuscript Submission
- Articles should be submitted via the Timora Journal's online system (OJS).
- Authors must attach a statement of originality and willingness to undergo the peer review process.

6. Tables, Figures, and Graphs
- Tables must have titles above them (Times New Roman 11).
- Figures or graphs must have captions below them (Times New Roman 11).
- They must be clear, high-quality, and support the article's content.

This guideline is designed to ensure the consistency and quality of publications in the Timora Journal. Articles that do not comply with these guidelines will be returned to authors for revision.
