Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa mengenai faktor pemicu kerusakan ginjal dan upaya pencegahannya. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Palu pada Selasa, 13 Januari 2026 dengan jumlah peserta 52 orang (siswa, guru, dan staf). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan (pembentukan panitia, pembagian tugas, penyusunan leaflet, penyusunan instrumen pre–post test, serta persiapan alat pemeriksaan kesehatan), pelaksanaan edukasi interaktif disertai sesi tanya jawab, serta layanan pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis dan pemberian vitamin. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pengukuran pengetahuan menggunakan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan dari 31,5 menjadi 77,5 dengan kenaikan sebesar 46%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa edukasi berbasis leaflet dan interaksi langsung efektif meningkatkan pemahaman peserta tentang pencegahan kerusakan ginjal. Kegiatan PKM diharapkan mendorong perubahan perilaku sehat, meningkatkan kesadaran risiko, dan memperkuat upaya pencegahan sejak usia sekolah
