Publication Ethics

                                         

Journal of Tropical Animal Science and Technology

For all parties involved in the publication process (authors, editorial board, and reviewers), it is necessary to agree upon ethical standards of conduct that must be jointly observed in the writing and publication of scientific articles. Therefore, to ensure ethical standards for all components involved, the Journal of Tropical Animal Science and Technology has developed standards that must be followed by all related parties.

For the Publisher

The publisher is fully responsible for the publication of the Journal of Tropical Animal Science and Technology.

For the Editors

a. Editors are responsible for deciding which articles should be published based on the review results provided by the reviewers.

b. Editors evaluate manuscripts/articles for publication without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy of the authors.

c. Editors ensure that articles accepted for publication are in accordance with the scientific focus/scope of the Journal of Tropical Animal Science and Technology. The reviewers’ evaluations will serve as the basis for editors in determining whether an article is accepted, accepted with major/minor revisions, or rejected for publication.

d. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of all information regarding submitted manuscripts and must not disclose any information to parties other than the authors and reviewers involved in the review process.

For the Authors

The publication ethics that must be observed by authors are as follows:

  • Authors must declare that the manuscript submitted to the Journal of Tropical Animal Science and Technology is an original work resulting from their own research or ideas.
  • Authors are prohibited from committing plagiarism, duplication, fabrication, and data falsification.
  • Authors must declare that the manuscript or article submitted to the Journal of Tropical Animal Science and Technology has never been published and is not currently under consideration for publication in another scientific journal.
  • If authors have used and/or cited statements or research findings from other researchers/authors, they must ensure that such works and/or references are clearly acknowledged in the reference list.
  • Authors must provide information to the Journal of Tropical Animal Science and Technology regarding any conflict of interest related to the article to be published.

For the Reviewers

  • Articles/manuscripts received by reviewers for review must be treated as confidential documents. Submitted manuscripts must not be disclosed to or discussed with other parties unless authorized by the editor.
  • Reviews of articles must be conducted objectively, supported by scientific arguments in accordance with academic standards. Conflicts of interest are not permitted.
