Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism prevention is crucial as it ensures academic and scientific integrity. Therefore, MATH-EDU: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan Matematika uses Plagiarism Detection Software, Checker X, to address plagiarism issues. The Journal Editor’s responsibilities also include performing a Grammarly check on submitted manuscripts before sending them to reviewers. We do not process plagiarized manuscripts. If a manuscript has more than 15% plagiarism based on the results from Checker X, we will send it back to the author for revision of the plagiarized content.
Basically, the author's responsibility is to submit articles free from plagiarism and academic malpractice. However, the Editor will recheck each article before publication. Plagiarism checks will be conducted twice: once before sending the manuscript to reviewers, and once again after receiving the revised version based on reviewer feedback.
